Tinius Olsen is proud to now offer side loading hydraulic wedge grips for use with our Super L, U Series, Electomatic, and LoCap series of testers.
These new grips feature a variety of optional wedge faces/grips and require their own hydraulic power pack for operation. Time tested and well proven in the field, these grips are a popular addition to Tinius Olsen's grip offering and are available in rated capacities of either 120kN or 300kN. TO opens new Demonstration facility in India
Our New Demonstration facility is OPEN for Business. We have opened this new facility in our plant in Noida, UP, to support the tremendous efforts of the Aimil Sales and Service teams across India. On display, and available for demonstration, we have: - MP600 melt indexer - Super L-60 hydraulic tension & compression tester. - 150kN U series electromechanical tension & compression tester. - 500 L laser extensometer - Video extensometer - IT-503 impact tester - 5 kN and 50 kN L series benchtop tension and compression testers. - Grips and attachments for L series. Additionally, the demonstration facility is equipped with high speed internet access which will allow Tinius Olsen and Aimil staff to give: • online demonstrations to prospective customers, • online customer training, • online sales and service team training. |

Tinius Olsen, has entered into a partnership with Universal (Hong Kong) Technology, a major organization in China offering distribution and technical support services for materials testing. This partnership further expands Universal Technology’s portfolio in the metals, alloys and construction testing fields. Universal Technology’s activities are already specialized, and well recognized, in the metals and alloys industry sector with optical emission spectrometers, thermal analysis equipment, and steel grinding equipment; the similar customer base and strengths of Universal makes the partnership between with Tinius Olsen a simple decision, and a tremendous benefit to our customers. Tinius Olsen equipment is used in quality control and research facilities, to measure materials’ strength and performance. Equipment is available to perform a whole series of physical tests including tension, shear, compression, flexure, drawability, impact strength, hardness and torsion. To launch our new partnership, Universal Technology will be exhibiting with Tinius Olsen at the CCATM 2010 (15th CSM Conference and Exhibition on Analysis& Testing of Materials) in Beijing on September 12-15, 2010. CCATM is organized by the Chinese Society for Metals and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and supported by the International Committee of Analysis for Iron & Steel Industry. |
